READ: 1 Corinthians 15:20-23

  1. But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.
  2. For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.
  3. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
  4. But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ’s at his coming.

In Christ Alone

  1. In Christ alone my hope is found
He is my light, my strength, my song
    This Cornerstone, this solid ground
Firm through the fiercest drought and storm
What heights of love, what depths of peace
When fears are stilled, when strivings cease
My Comforter, my All in All
  2. In Christ alone, who took on flesh
Fullness of God in helpless babe
This gift of love and righteousness
Scorned by the ones He came to save
‘Til on that cross as Jesus died
The wrath of God was satisfied
For every sin on Him was laid
  3. There in the ground His body lay
Light of the world by darkness slain
Then bursting forth in glorious Day
Up from the grave He rose again
And as He stands in victory
Sin’s curse has lost its grip on me
For I am His and He is mine
Bought with the precious blood of
  4. No guilt in life, no fear in death
This is the power of Christ in me
From life’s first cry to final breath
    Jesus commands my destiny
No power of hell, no scheme of man
Can ever pluck me from His hand
Till He returns or calls me home

MESSAGE: OPEN Heavens TEENS Devotionals For Today || 14th September 2022 — The First

Jesus Christ is the first in everything – the first to create something as great as the universe out of darkness, the first to resurrect from the dead by Himself, the first to walk on water, the first to turn water into wine, the first to produce eyes et cetera. The Bible records that the universe has its existence in Jesus because all things were made by Him (John 1:3). Deuteronomy 28:13 also says:

“And the LORD shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath…”

This is Gods promise to you if you’re His child. He doesn’t want you to be backward for any reason.

It is expected that when two intellectuals marry, they would produce their kind but the opposite was the case of two professors who brought their child for prayers many years ago. The boy, until then, used to have the worst results in his class but we prayed a simple prayer and God turned it around as the boy never failed any exam again. I pray for you today that God will break the yoke of failure in your life and you will be above only, in Jesus name.

Father, please make me exceptional in all my endeavours in Jesus’ name.

THE SALVATION PRAYER

Thank you for reading Devotional Here Today On Impacttunes. If you have not done so already, please give your life to the LORD JESUS CHRIST.

Say the following prayer

Dear Father,
In the name of Jesus, I come to you. I accept that I am not in tune with You and that I desire to be. Please forgive me for all of my sins. According to the Bible, if I confess with my lips, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in my heart that God raised Jesus from the dead, I will be saved.

In Jesus’ Name, I pray. Amen.
