Munachi, an AfroGospel performer, has released a video for his song “Off Dem.”

The song’s title is quite suggestive, making the aggressively religious uncomfortable, but Munachi’s message remains the same as always: Jesus. It instills patience in the face of trials until one’s testimony is given and one’s harsh insults and derision are addressed.

The tune is off his next EP, “Psalms of a Hood Boy,” which will be published in September 2020.

The EP’s first track, “Off Dem,” was quickly transformed into an anthem. In 2021, a deluxe edition of the EP was released.
