Daps’s full names are Dalyop Godwin Gwom, born on 26th of June 1975.
He is from a god fearing home and grew up with deep interest and passion for music. Daps is a multi instrumentalist, a Nigerien from a tribe called berom from plateau state, has been influenced by ethnic sounds like the xylophone and traditional harp and has developed his own style of fusion and unique music called ‘xylo-fro’.
